道可得,常心.seeking the truth is a lifelong journey, and understanding "the way" requires patience and persistence.
二
名与身不两立.name and reality cannot coexist. The pursuit of true wisdom lies in letting go of names and focusing on the essence.
三
其安易持,其未兆易谋.hold onto what is stable, plan for what has not yet emerged. This principle reminds me to be grounded while being forward-thinking.
A long view allows us to see both near and far, cultivating our ability to think critically about the future while staying present in the moment.
五
以其轻者动,以其重者静.use gentle force when needed, conserve energy by remaining still when possible. This philosophy encourages balance in action and rest.
六
知足不辱,为之于野,为之于市.knowing contentment brings no shame; acting with integrity whether in nature or amidst society's demands. Living simply yet authentically is key to happiness.
七
天地不仁,以万物为刍狗.heaven and earth are indifferent; they treat all things as mere food for consumption. Recognizing this harsh reality helps me appreciate life's preciousness while embracing its fragility.
八
上善若水.water above is really good.the highest virtue is like water - it nourishes all without seeking recognition or reward. I aim to emulate this selfless quality in my interactions with others.
九
知止可以为师., knowing where to stop can teach you much.about setting boundaries, recognizing personal limitations, and finding wisdom through restraint rather than excess.
十
夫唯多闻,不如好问.many ears but few listeners; instead seek knowledge by asking questions openly.with humility comes growth from engaging with others' perspectives rather than merely accumulating information passively.
